From No Direction to Leading Others

God’s House of Hope in Clinton, Alabama, recently celebrated their newest staff member, Odie Ray Smith. He graduated on April 20, 2024 and has decided to stay on staff at God’s House of Hope.

Odie came to God’s House of Hope without any direction in his life. He has worked and battled to overcome anger, unforgiveness and the regret of how his life had turned out.

The Lord blessed him beyond what he though was possible by restoring his relationship with his children, whom he had not seen in years.

Odie has been dedicated since his arrival at God’s Hope of Hope and is excited about his new endeavor. We hope that Odie’s story will serve as a beacon of hope for those who have a habit, hurt or hangup and desire to make a change.
