April 2024 Wishlist
Dear Gracefully Broken Community,
As we step into the blossoming month of April, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the unwavering support and encouragement that continues to pour into our ministry. Each day, we are humbled by the opportunity to spread the love of Christ and witness the transformative power of faith in action.
One of the highlights of my week is Saturday visits to the local treatment center. It's a time filled with worship, sharing the Word, and distributing new Bibles. The impact we're making is palpable, with an average of 30 men eagerly soaking in the message of hope and redemption through Jesus. It's a testament to the incredible journey of recovery that unfolds when faith takes root.
We often have special speakers who offer invaluable insights and encouragement to those in the center. Their presence is deeply appreciated and adds another layer of richness to our gatherings.
For those seeking ways to be the hands and feet of Christ, our friends in the center have expressed a particular fondness for snack bags. If your Sunday school, small group, or Bible study is interested in contributing, please reach out to me for details. All items must be store-purchased to ensure quality and safety.
I'm thrilled to announce that Collier Tillman has recently joined our ministry and now leads the guys in Bible study every Sunday. His dedication and love for our brothers in Christ are truly commendable, and we are immensely grateful for his presence among us.
Reflecting on March, we rejoice in the 19 individuals who prayed to receive Christ and the 40 new Bibles that were distributed. It's incredible to witness the seeds of faith taking root and flourishing in the lives of those we serve.
As we press forward, handmade gifts are being lovingly crafted to send to the ladies at the local treatment centers. These tokens of agape love serve as a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cherished by a community that extends beyond physical boundaries.
Looking ahead, I am filled with anticipation for what the future holds. Four years ago, I embarked on this journey with uncertainty, but God's faithfulness has been a constant guiding light. He is whispering promises of something big on the horizon, and I am eager to see His plans unfold.
